Howard specialises in corporate and commercial work for SMEs across a range of sectors. His forte is effective transaction management – a “no-nonsense” entrepreneurial approach to getting the deal done for the client. Howard has particular interests in organisational governance, business ethics and strategic and change management and has acted as change adviser and facilitator in a number of cases. From 1994 to 2012 he was, successively, Group Company Secretary (part-time) of two UK businesses listed on the London Stock Exchange and currently holds a similar position with a substantial privately-owned group.
MBA with distinction; admitted a solicitor 1967 (youngest in the year); a partner at Michael Conn Goldsobel (and its predecessor firm, David Cohen & Goldsobel) from 1969 to date.
In his spare time Howard is a Foundation Governor of a voluntary aided primary school. He is also a very active supporter of a cause close to his heart and family, that of the Motor Neurone Disease Association, regularly promoting the charity through events and fundraising.
