Simon Cohen read history at Brasenose College Oxford and was admitted in 1983 having trained at May, May & Merrimans. He then worked at Trowers and later joined David Cohen & Goldsobel before the firm merged in 1997 to become Michael Conn Goldsobel.
Simon specialises in all aspects of commercial property work and in particular property acquisition and landlord and tenant matters including the renewal of business leases under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
Simon is also highly experienced in general commercial property management work. He acts for clients on corporate acquisitions work both of company and business assets including in sectors such as publishing, travel business, pharmaceutical, dentist practice and estate agencies and other property company.
Simon is Secretary of the City of Westminster and Holborn Law Society Conveyancing Committee.
Outside the office Simon has been chairman and president of the Solicitors’ Wine Society and is currently secretary. He plays bridge and follows Chelsea Football Club.
